“Drive My Car” The Beatles Cover

“Drive My Car” is a song by the Beatles. It was released in Dec 1965 on their album “Rubber Soul”.

I feel this song is a homage to the Beatles-style black music. The Guitar phrase in the intro is very impressive and I feel it’s very cool.

For this song, I recorded twice with another type of Guitar. One is Stratocaster and the other is 335.

At first I recorded with each type of Guitar. After that, I listened to the sounds and compared them, and decided to use Stratocaster for the riff guitar and slide guitar for the solo part. However, the solo part is a double track on both Guitars. I also played Bass.

The reason why the two guitars are mixed in the video is for the above reason.

I’m originally a Blues and Blues Rock guitar player, so playing Slide Guitar on this song was a great experience.

Then this time it’s a “Drive” song, so I tried using the video of the Drive recorder of my car. by Ryo
