“Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” is a Motown masterpiece that is covered by many vocalists.
I searched the Motown website for information on the equipment and Mix down at that time, and based on that information, I made the atmosphere sound like Motown.
It was a very informative and enjoyable experience. In Motown at that time, the chamber was used for reverb. I also tried to reproduce it. I also tried to reproduce the special routing using the bus of Equalizer and mixer.
It is important to reproduce the texture of those sounds, but what is more important is the vocalist’s songs and expressions during the heyday of Motown.
My wife tried to reproduce it as much as possible. I think it works. Of course not to compare to Motown’s great vocalists of the time.
