Stones has released a new song for the first time in 8 years.
I bought it on record and received it the other day.
The song itself was pre-released on YouTube, so I was listening to it, and yesterday I was shooting, so I didn’t hear it right away, but I could hear it.
When I heard it, I thought, “It’s the sound of Stones after 90’s.”
Mick’s vocal was amazing, I want to ask, “How old are you?” He’s about 75-6 years old.
Even though it’s a record, the recording was digital, so the sound was extremely digitally clear.
The record player I use is “Nottingham Analogue Studios Spacedeck HD”.
Nottingham record players tend to be quiet and clear.
I like this.
However, how many years have it been before I was able to record a “new album”? (Speaking of Stones, I bought the previous “Blue & Lonesome” Analog, but that was only after the CD was released.) ..
When I started listening to music, it was a time when records and CDs were still mixed, so it might be the last generation to listen to new records in real time.
Speaking of which, the YouTube video of Living in a Ghost Town featured “the various cities of the locked-down world.”
And, Japan was included there.
It was written as Kyoto in the end credit, but it was clearly taken in “Osaka and Kyoto”. I was happy because Osaka is the town where I live.
Personally, there seemed to be many in Osaka (laughs).
Lastly, I’m looking forward to a new Stones album this year.
It’s the 60th anniversary of the formation in the next two years. Stones are great (laughs).
